Dr. Judith Liu-Jimenez obtained her degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 2004 at Polythecnic University of Madrid. She has been working since 2004 at University Carlos III of Madrid, where she obtained her PhD on Electronics in 2010. Her work in focused on Biometrics, specifically in Iris Biometrics. She is working in developing new algorithms for this modality, as well as fraud detection algorithms.
She is also an expert on microelectronic design of digital signal processing systems, especially in ID tokens based on Hardware/software co-design and fast devices for high computational tasks.
Durign 2012, she has been working as a project manager and presales manager in Morpho Colombia, developing proposals for differente Biometric and border control projects, as well as leading the implementation of a project in Latin-America.
In 2013, she came back to Europe to keep working as a research engineer and project manager inside the University Group for Identification Technologies.
